Accrediting your conference; here's what we do: We work with you to make sure your course meets all board requirements. Our accreditation staff will organize all the materials, complete and submit the applications, and follow up with the boards until your class is approved.

You decide which states and professions you would like your class approved for, and we do the rest. Amedco is an approved provider of continuing education (CE / CME) for a wide spectrum of national and state professional accrediting agencies. We can either use our providerships or use your own accreditations if you have them.

FAQ

How does Amedco obtain approval for my continuing education course?

Amedco is approved as a continuing education (CE) provider by many of the national accrediting agencies so we can help develop and offer credit for your class ourselves.

How long does it take to receive an approval decision from a CE agency?

On average, it takes about eight weeks to receive a response to a submitted CE application, though this varies considerably by agency, and can be dependent on the agency's current workload.

Will a course that is approved in one state automatically be accepted for credit in another state?

Most accreditations are nationally accepted, but not all state boards require continuing education, and some states require a separate application for their approval.

Before the accreditation process begins, what course information is needed?

These items will get the process started:

  • Course Description
  • Learning Objectives
  • Dates and Locations
  • Agenda
How far ahead of time do I need to plan classes for credit?

Depending on the conference, you should plan on between eight weeks to three months. The sooner the better.
